«Fire of hope» – the first anual Ukrainian chaplain conference

- Director of the “Pastoral-Chaplain leadership” in the Kiev Theological Seminary (KTS) retired colonel Valentin Korenevich
- President of the Ukrainian public organization “Ukrainian Chaplaincy” (UC) retired lieutenant colonel Valery Trufanov.
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the first annual Ukrainian chaplain`s conference of “Fire of Hope”, which will be held from 25 to 26 January 2013. at the Kiev Theological Seminary.
The main objective of the conference “Flame of Hope”: with God’s help facilitate disclosure have chaplains, KTS students and staff OBI and UC, their gifts and callings of God “… desire spiritual gifts …” (1 Corinthians 14:1), as well as encouraging , encourage and inspire chaplains on active enforcement of the Great Commission, “… go and preach the gospel …” (Mark 16:15), “… go and make disciples of all nations …” (Matthew 28:19).
Objectives of the conference:
- To provide the opportunity to examine the most effective modern methods and techniques of practical ministry chaplains.
- To provide the possibility of contact with their colleagues practicing chaplains, and are successful in this fruit for your encouragement.
- Send vision of chaplains ministry.
- Plan the main activities of the regional offices and agents UC in 2013., The year of Christ’s missionary grace.
- An overall strategy of cooperation with other organizations and religious denominations.
